A deeper look into this weeks events. Which predictions are the right predictions?

  • First of the list: Vemon: Let there be carnage.

Venom is a 2018 American superhero film featuring the Marvel Comics character of the same name, produced by Columbia Pictures in association with Marvel and Tencent Pictures. Distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing, it is the first film in the Sony Pictures Universe of Marvel Characters. Directed by Ruben Fleischer from a screenplay by Jeff Pinkner, Scott Rosenberg, and Kelly Marcel, it stars Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock / Venom, alongside Michelle Williams, Riz Ahmed, Scott Haze, and Reid Scott. In Venom, journalist Brock gains superpowers after becoming the host of an alien symbiote whose species plans to invade Earth.

On the numbers side, the opening weekend Vemon made a solid $82.2Million in ticket sales. Will Venom: let there be carnage follow the first Venom movie’s footsteps or will it end up making more? The total box office sales domestically went up to $213Million.

  • Next up we have Liverpool Vs Chelsea, the clash of the titans.

Founded in 1892, Liverpool joined the Football League the following year and has played at Anfield since its formation. Liverpool established itself as a major force in English and European football in the 1970s and 1980s, when Bill Shankly, Bob Paisley, Joe Fagan and Kenny Dalglish led the club to a combined eleven League titles and four European Cups. Liverpool won two further European Cups in 2005 and 2019 under the management of Rafael Benítez and Jürgen Klopp, respectively; the latter led Liverpool to a nineteenth League title in 2020, the club’s first during the Premier League era.

As for Chelsea was founded in 1905 by Henry Augustus Mears. Home games are played at Stamford Bridge stadium, the original site Mears chose for the club. The team had mixed fortunes over the years, not winning a major trophy until the 1950s and moving up and down between divisions several times. They’ve won 6 Premier league titles as well as 2 Champions league and are current Champions league title holders.

What will be the result of this fantastic match between Liverpool and Chelsea.
